Problem-Solution Post

Cyberbullying It’s Not Nice

By: Zachary C.

It’s Not Ok To Bully

One problem that digital citizens need to aware of is how cyberbullying can affect everybody in different ways. If digital citizens didn’t treat each other with respect then that could make it to where nobody wants to be there friend at school. One of the problems that occurs when we cyberbully online is that some people think bad thoughts like suicide or not going to school anymore. Another problem is that you could make it to were nobody likes you. MIddle school and High school students who are cyberbullied may act sad, depressed, and they may take their anger out at you/themselves. It is clear that cyber bullying isn’t helpful or acceptable and it shouldn’t happen much, “ 7% of students in grades 6-12 experienced cyberbullying in the years 2013-2014”. This supports problems to cyberbullying because the bullied students are not as satisfied as the students who aren’t bullied. Middle school and High school students all need to be treated equally because if you don’t treat them correctly then you might not be liked by most everybody. If cyberbullying was allowed worldwide we would have a bunch of rude people and grumpy people because of the cyberbullies.

How You Can Help Cyber Bullying

One solution that digital citizens need to be aware of is how they can take a part in preventing cyber bullying. If they helped with stopping cyberbullying they would have done something helpful and kind to a stranger or a friend. One solution to cyberbullying is that the student being helped from cyberbullying could be more joyful and think about helping another student being cyberbullied. Another solution is that people can create apps, websites, or social media to stop cyberbullying. A good thing is, a group of adults who work on cyberbullying made a little blue robot called the Nice Bot. The Nice Bot is going to send out messages to every twitter user [ eventually ] “ Every 36 seconds the NiceBot sends out cheesy, happy messages.” This supports solutions to cyberbullying because it is most likely making someone cheerful and maybe sharing the happiness with someone else. If people shared joyous thoughts with others then a lot of people would be gleeful. In all if we stop cyberbullying then the world would be a jovial place.
